Science and Nature

School Garden 

We also are very proud of our School Garden which is maintained and developed by a parent who, with the support of the class teachers and all pupils, educates the children on planting fruit and veg, and also focuses on bio-diversity and environmental care. 5th  and 6th class participate in sewing and knitting classes taught by a local volunteer. 

Science

Our Science Club is a wonderful initiative for the pupils of 3rd and 4th  class. It runs every year for 6 weeks and involves parents and other members of the community with scientific expertise. It has received sponsorship from nearby pharmaceutical firms and has both an input from C.I.T. and U.C.C.
