Welcome from the Parents’ Association
At the heart of our school community is a strong and valued partnership between parents, guardians, teachers, and staff. The Parents’ Association is here to nurture and strengthen that partnership.
Who We Are
The Parents’ Association is the formal structure through which parents and guardians in our school come together to support the best possible education and school experience for our children. We work collaboratively with the Principal, staff, and Board of Management to build a positive, open, and effective relationship between home and school.
Educational research consistently shows that children achieve more and thrive when parents and teachers work together, and that’s exactly what we’re here to do.
What We Do
We are involved in a wide range of activities and initiatives, including:
- Advising on school policy: We provide input to the Principal and Board of Management on policy matters such as wellbeing, safety, homework etc
- Organising and supporting extra-curricular activities: From events and fundraisers to enrichment programmes, we help create opportunities beyond the classroom.
- Hosting talks and information evenings: We invite speakers to address parents on topics that are timely, relevant, and helpful for families.
- Listening and connecting: Our class reps are a friendly first point of contact in every class, helping to keep communication flowing between families and the broader school community.

We are also supported by a wonderful team of class representatives across the school, who help connect families in each class with the wider Parents’ Association.
Get Involved
The Parents’ Association is only as strong as the community behind it, and everyone is welcome, whether you can give an hour a year or much more. There are no minimum requirements, no experience needed, and no such thing as a contribution too small.
Getting involved is a great way to:
- Stay connected with what’s happening in the school
- Meet other parents and build friendships
- Make a real, positive difference for your children and their classmates
