The Board of Management manages the school on behalf of the Patron Bishop Fintan Gavin and is accountable to the Patron and the Minister of Education . The Board must uphold the ethos of the school and is accountable to the Patron for so doing. The Principal is responsible for the day-to-day management of the school, including guidance and direction of the teachers and other staff of the school, and is accountable to the Board of that management.

The Board will identify key activities and priorites that it will address during its term of office. The new Board will effectively and routinely engage in School Planning, Self- Evaluation, Teaching and Learning, Management of Resources, School Policies, Child Protection, Code of Behaviour/Anti-Bullying Policy, and Employment.

The Board of Management of the school is very committed to running the school in an open and inclusive way and the chairperson and other members of the board communicate with parents at the parent association A.G.M. and attend various events, such as the Christmas concert and our Graduation mass each year.
