Green Schools:
Recently at Bishop Galvin N.S., we have formed our first ever ‘Green Team’! This team consists of children from 3rd – 6th class, who will work with the whole school community with the shared aim of achieving our first ever Green Flag! The theme of our first Green Flag is ‘Litter and Waste’, and so we will be focusing on reducing our waste much as possible, and also improving our recycling habits. We will also be working with the Tidy Villages Committee to help keep Newcestown litter free, through taking part in weekly litter picks!
